“YOU CAN’T BUY LOVE BUT YOU CAN BUY LOCAL,” block letter words declare from the marquee sign in front of Austin lifestyle store, Atown. The locally-owned stripmall boutique is doing its part to keep Austin weird. Atown features clothing, jewelry, and gift items, many of which are made by Austin artists and artisans. Why do you love Austin?
Austin is the oasis of Texas. It's still weird, even though it's changing and growing. The music and food scenes are unbeatable, and it has the perfect blend of nature and city-life! Austinites love to support local, and that's what makes it amazing!
Why do you vote?
Voting is not only a right and a privilege, but it's our civic duty! I vote to support the changes I hope to see from issues that affect citizens locally and nationwide.
